Extracurricular Activities (Of Course They're Not Normal) (課外活動 （もちろん普通じゃありません）, Kagai Katsudō (Mochiron Futsū ja Arimasen)) is the third episode of season two and the seventeenth episode of the Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon anime series overall. This episode first aired in Japan on July 22, 2021.

Synopsis

Saikawa visits Miss Kobayashi's home to play. However, there's a girl that's unfamiliar to her (Ilulu)... Even after inviting her to join their games, Ilulu coldly refuses. Then Lucoa happens to stop by and she notices Ilulu's feelings as she tries to avoid them, so she makes an effort to help the dragon out.

Trivia

• Fhána's lead vocalist, Towana, briefly appears as the maid idol playing on the TV.

Anime and Manga Differences

• Ilulu lists "sleeping" as her hobby instead of "teasing Taketo," since he hasn't been introduced in the anime yet.
• The board game that Kanna, Riko, Shouta, and Ilulu play in the anime is Monopoly rather than The Game of Life, like it was in the manga.
• In Chapter 12 of Kanna's Daily Life, Elma is shown playing with the four of them.
• Chapter 45 happens at the same time as Chapter 44. Despite not adapting Chapter 44, the anime leaves in Kobayashi's comment about running into Elma, which causes a minor plot hole.
