There Are Various Reasons Behind It (It's Full of Elma) (いろいろワケがありまして（エルマざんまいです） Iroiro Wake ga Arimashite (Eruma Zanmai Desu)) is the ninth episode of season two and the twenty-third episode of the Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon anime series overall. This episode first aired in Japan on September 2, 2021.
Synopsis[]
It all started with a single statement from Elma--"I demand improved worker conditions!" The company Miss Kobayashi and the others work at is very close to being exploitative, and Elma finally realizes their situation is wrong and rises up against it. Miss Kobayashi assumes it's impossible to improve their working conditions, but the dragon's energy and spirit were far greater than she imagined...[2]
Plot Overview[]
Tohru and Elma fight to get treated by Kobayashi. They end up in a tie. Kobayashi decides to have them break the tie another way. In the next scene, Tohru and Elma are trying keep a straight face but that fails when it is revealed they are now barefoot, with their shoes and socks removed offscreen and their bare feet are being tickled by Kanna and Ilulu. They both burst out laughing at the same times as a result, while Kobayashi declares this a draw, while Kanna and Ilulu keep tickling the girls' feet.
