Life is Constant Change (But It's Okay To Stop And Appreciate It) (生生流転（でも立ち止まるのもありですかね）, Seiseiruten (Demo Tachidomaru no mo Ari Desu ka ne)) is the twelfth episode of season two and the twenty-sixth episode of the Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon anime series overall. This episode first aired in Japan on September 23, 2021.

Synopsis

A typical morning with typical dragon girls. A priceless slice of daily life without any complaints. However, ever since Miss Kobayashi heard the tale from the Emperor of Demise, something has been slightly weighing on her. Yet it's not clear to her what exactly that is. As that uncertainty builds, the summer festival they've all been waiting for is drawing closer.

Anime and Manga Differences

• The flower viewing takes place out-of-season. Kobayashi and Tohru are informed about it by Lucoa before they attend, while in the manga, Lucoa is the last to show up at the flower viewing. Kobayashi only learns of Lucoa's involvement after she arrives.
• In Chapter 40 of the manga, Ilulu had yet to form five-fingered hands in her human appearance.
• Taketo attends the summer festival with Ilulu in this episode. In the manga, he had not yet been introduced when Chapter 48 was published.
• Riko Saikawa did not attend the summer festival in the manga.
