Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Sports (小林さんちのスポーツドラゴン Kobayashi-san Chi no Supōtsu Doragon) is the fifth episode of the Miss Kobayashi's Dragon 〇〇 Something anime miniseries. It was released on July 19, 2017 via the fifth Blu-ray/DVD compilation volume for the first season of the Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid anime.[1]
Synopsis[]
This special shows Tohru, Kanna, and Elma competing in various sports. The different sports shown are Football,[note 2] Volleyball, Swimming, Kendo, and Cheerleading.
Plot Overview[]
Tohru, Kanna, and Elma state the special's theme as Kobayashi quickly welcomes Kanna back. Tohru and Elma begin bickering after the former suggests that Elma was only brought back to fill in for Lucoa while Kanna proceeds with the special unbothered.

Kobayashi-san Chi no "Football"[note 2] Dragon: Tohru passes the soccer ball to Kanna, who is on the same team as her. Elma, as part of an opposing team, tries to intercept, but pierces the ball with her horn. Kobayashi, acting as the referee, blows her whistle, shows Elma a red card, and tells her to hide her horn.
Kobayashi-san Chi no "Volleyball" Dragon: Kanna directs a volleyball to Tohru, who attempts to spike it. Elma tries to counter, but pierces the ball with her horn again. Kobayashi, acting as the umpire, rules an over-net as Elma tried to make contact with the ball outside her area. Elma is upset that she messed up and Kobayashi mentions she already told her to hide her horn.
Kobayashi-san Chi no "Swimming" Dragon: Elma, Kanna, and Tohru are all taking part in a competitive swimming race. Elma, as a water dragon, quickly takes the lead and begins boasting out loud. Unfortunately for Elma, her horn pierces the end of the pool, leaving her unable to finish the race on account of being stuck. Kobayashi begins muttering about her horn while Tohru and Kanna call Elma foolish.

Kobayashi-san Chi no "Kendo" Dragon: Elma and Tohru are shown wearing Kendo armor and wielding bamboo swords. Tohru hits Elma on her horn twice, causing Elma to lose two rounds out of three. Elma begins crying about how difficult human sports are as Kobayashi, yet again, brings up how she told her to hide her horn.
Kobayashi-san Chi no "Cheerleader" Dragon: Tohru and Kanna jump, while in cheerleading outfits, and land on Elma's hands as she holds them upright. Elma cries tears of joy, happy that she has finally found a sport she could do. Suddenly, Tohru and Kanna jump straight up before landing on Elma's hands again, but this time in their dragon forms. Elma struggles to hold up Tohru and Kanna due to their weight, but continues to carry them regardless after they compliment her ability. With that, Kobayashi closes out the skit as Elma continues struggling.
