Yamashita (山下 Yamashita) is a senior developer at Kobayashi's workplace, Jigokumeguri System Engineering Inc.

Yamashita has very short black hair, thick eyebrows, and narrow eyes. He wears a white dress shirt and navy blue tie.
Personality[]
Yamashita is known to be a person of few words and speaks in a mono tone voice.
Plot[]
He appears once in the manga, in a flashback, when Kobayashi explains to Takiya that she has to deliver an urgent fix to one of Yamashita's projects.
In the anime, Yamashita also appears in several later episodes. In Episode 11, he informs his co-workers that he is going back to Hokkaido to see his family, and promises to return with Nama chocolates. In Episode 13, Yamashita consults Kobayashi over several code revisions. In the OVA, Yamashita distributes the promised Nama chocolates to everyone at work during Valentine's Day.
